Narongrit Baiyai holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Mahanakorn University of Technology.
Before joining 3D Technical Design, Narongrit had worked for over 18 years as a Principal Piping Engineer on offshore oil and gas platforms, onshore petrochemical facilities, refineries, green hydrogen projects, and oleochemical technology in Thailand.
His experience includes roles at Thai Nippon Steel Engineering & Construction, PAE (Thailand) Public Company Limited, and ThyssenKrupp Uhde Thailand Ltd. He has expertise in pipe stress engineering, piping material engineering, and piping design and layout across various projects in Thailand, the USA, Mexico, Hungary, Poland, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, China, and Singapore.
He began his professional career as a Piping Stress Engineer, working on PDP, FEED, and detailed design projects such as the PTTEP Bangkok 3G & 4A project, Chevron Twin Platform project, Thai Oil HRSG project, IRPC SAN-III projects, and the Green Hydrogen water electrolysis project, including Hylios, CFI, HIDC, and WCgH2. He was also involved in various Jet Reactor Loop technology projects for Oxiteno, MOL, BASF, PCC Rokita, Croda, and Vantage, covering aspects such as bracketry design, support selection, spring supports, expansion joints, considerations for wind and seismic loads, and nozzle allowable load checks.
Currently, as a Pipe Stress Engineer, He is involved in the 2D design and system stress analysis for internal pipes and buried pipes.
