Senior District Heating Network CAD Engineer

Leena is a hard-working and experienced Senior CAD Engineer within our design team. She has a wealth of experience working with AutoCAD which makes her contribution to our team immeasurable. She assists in the production of 2D GA district heating pipe route drawings, communication duct route and chamber drawings, leak detection system drawings, 3D isolation valve and air vent chamber models and drawings, and 3D route and construction drawings. In addition, she is involved in the identification of feasibility, design HAZID Identification, and clash detection in Navisworks. Furthermore, she is also responsible for liaising with third parties/project stakeholders and assisting the technical lead in design coordination.

Before joining our design team, Leena had worked for 20+ years as a CAD Engineer/Designer within several different companies in the UK, Alstom and General Electric being amongst them. At Alstom, she was responsible for creating and amending electrical schematic diagrams, wire lists and BOMs for multiple projects worldwide using AutoCAD and DMS, and for creating the majority of drawings and wire lists for FIL (France-Italy Link) using Engineering Base. In addition, during previous roles, she was responsible for creating, amending, and maintaining general assemblies, panel layouts, process layouts, wiring diagrams and schematics, using AutoCAD for both small and large-scale projects.
