Tapat Nachaiwiang

DHN CAD Technician

Tapat is an aerospace engineering graduate from Kasetsart University in Thailand. At the time he was studying; CAD played an important role in his major, he has an extensive background in 2D and 3D CAD systems including Catia V5 and ANSYS workbench. His senior project “Design and analysis of loop wheel for fixed wing UAV”, shows a standout performance of modeling and analyzing using finite element methodology (FEM) under the safety regulation of FAR23.

He has gained experience and engineering skills during his internship with AerospaceMRO, a specialist company in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of commercial aircraft in Thailand. Tapat assisted in a project “Battery cell voltage measurement instrument” by designing a battery pack cover and programming through ArduinoIDE.

Since joining 3D Technical Design as a CAD Technician, he has been supporting the feasibility study team on various projects for RIBA 1-3 stages including utility overlaying, and HAZIDs identifying. He is also responsible for producing the models and drawings of survey areas and methodology according to the standard of PAS128, route appraisal, concept designs of major infrastructure crossing, utility fusion, and general arrangement(GA) which led to an understanding of the design’s details that 3DTD provides to the clients.
